On our last trip to Los Angeles we were able to see some (though not all) of the most characteristic areas of the city: Beverly Hills, crossing Mulholland to the hills with views overlooking the Valley, Malibu, Manhattan Beach, Downtown, Chinatown and of course the freeways. They link all these different realities to each other, as if they are distinct cities, each one with its own culture and vibe, which compose one of the largest and most renowned metropolises in the world.
The miles that separate the neighborhoods lead to inevitable traffic, initially frightening and discouraging for those not familiar, but once you know and expect it, you find it moves quickly enough. Just find the right radio station and follow the flow of cars without being intimidated. After all, taking it easy is one of the secrets to having a good trip, especially in LA.
Below, some photos of our stay.
